Youth of the Year/Member of the Year Criteria
Youth of the Year will be ages 13 up to 18. Once you have your 18th birthday, you are no longer eligible for the Youth award, but becomeeligible for the Member award. Member of the Year will be from age 18 to ???
Winners will be determined by points accrued from January 1st to the November meeting. Points will be gained by attendence/participation in Club events and activities. These including meetings, committee meetings, roadside cleanup, helping at the horse show, helping at the Play Day, participating with the Club in parades, on trail rides, etc. Points will be given for working extra shifts at the Horse Show. Shifts are 2 hours and you will get a point for each shift. The Horse Show Committee will maintain worker schedules.
Both Youth and Members will be responsible for signing the sign in sheets that will be at all events. It is solely your responsibilty to sign in. Ponits will be tabulated and winners will be announced at the November Banquet. Winners will receive a nice award to be determined by the Committee. It may be a lovely buckle or ??
